Recently bought a 2021 Prado 150 and planning a snorkel install for dust and water protection. Even the Dubai summer dust is reason enough. Looking at ARB, Safari, and a local option from a shop in Sharjah. Anyone have hands-on experience with any of these on the 150 specifically?

Safari snorkels are the benchmark. Direct fit on the 150, good quality RAM head, zero issues in 4 years on my previous Prado. ARB is also solid. Avoid cheap clones — the silicone joints fail in UAE heat.

Had Safari on my Prado 120 for 4 years including wadi crossings up to door handle depth. Now on ARB for the 150. Both excellent. You will not go wrong with either.

The 150 install requires cutting the A-pillar. I would recommend having a proper 4×4 shop do it unless you have done panel work before. Cost of re-spraying a botched cut is more than the labour.

Went with Safari on mine. Noticeably cleaner air intake readings after summer dust storms. Pays for itself in filter savings alone.
