About 4WD Authority

Born from the desert. Built for the world.

4WD Authority is a dedicated 4×4 and overland community platform built around a simple idea: the off-road community deserves a platform as capable, rugged, and adventurous as the vehicles we drive. From a base in Dubai, we have grown into a global hub for everyone who lives to explore the world’s most demanding terrain.

Our Story

Dubai sits at the crossroads of some of the world’s most spectacular off-road landscapes ; the red dunes of the Empty Quarter, the gravel plains of Hatta, the wadis of Oman, and the rocky mountain trails of the Northern Emirates. Our founders spent years navigating these routes, coordinating convoys on group chats, sourcing parts from scattered suppliers, and wishing there was a single trusted place to do it all. There wasn’t ; so we built one.

4WD Authority launched as Dubai’s first dedicated 4×4 community platform, combining expedition event management, a classifieds marketplace, a parts and accessories shop, a rental service, and a community forum into one integrated destination. We are operated by 4WD AUTHORITY L.L.C-FZ, a free zone limited liability company incorporated under the Meydan Free Zone regulations, Government of Dubai (License No. 2650515.01). Used Vehicle & Accessories Marketplace: Buy and sell 4×4 vehicles, aftermarket parts, recovery gear, camping equipment, and accessories through our trusted classifieds marketplace. Every listing is subject to our marketplace standards to keep transactions safe and honest.
4×4 Parts & Accessories Shop: Our WooCommerce-powered shop stocks a curated range of off-road parts, recovery tools, lighting, tyres, and accessories from brands we trust. Fast shipping across the UAE and international delivery available.

Mansoor

Lead Trail Guide & Co-Founder

UAE-born guide with more than 15 years navigating the Hajar Mountains, Hatta wadis and the Empty Quarter. Mansoor leads every 4WD Authority expedition, sets the safety protocols, and knows the UAE off-road terrain as well as anyone in the region.

Priyash

Trail Photographer & Content Lead

The eye behind 4WD Authority field content. Priyash documents every wadi crossing, rocky trail and recovery across the UAE and Oman — from Wadi Showka and Fossil Rock to deep into the Musandam Peninsula.

Martin

Founder & Platform Director

Martin built 4WD Authority to give the UAE off-road community a platform that matches its ambition. His background spans product development, community building and overland travel across the GCC and beyond.
