The Dubai International Baja runs 5–8 November 2026 and is the final round of the FIA World and Middle East Baja Cups. We are attending on Saturday 7 November. Exact meeting point and time will be confirmed in the 4WD Authority WhatsApp community and by email once you register. You drive yourself in your own vehicle, join the group, and watch the action together.

What to Expect

This is a free community drive - no registration fee. A qualified 4WD Authority marshal leads the convoy, provides a pre-drive safety briefing, and coordinates vehicle recovery if needed on-trail.

Difficulty and distance details are confirmed in the drive briefing. All drives are marshal-led - you do not need prior off-road experience, but a capable 4WD vehicle with appropriate ground clearance is required.

  • Duration: 1 day
  • Minimum vehicle requirement: 4WD with low-range transfer case
  • Recommended ground clearance: 200 mm or more
  • Age requirement: 18+ (driver); passengers at driver’s discretion
  • Convoy size: maximum 20 vehicles - 20 spots remaining

Any full-time or part-time 4WD with a low-range transfer case and at least 200 mm ground clearance is suitable. Popular vehicles on our drives include the Toyota Land Cruiser (LC70–300 series), Nissan Patrol Y60/Y61, Toyota Prado, and Ford Bronco. Recovery gear is strongly recommended.

  • 4WD with low-range + locking rear differential (preferred)
  • All-terrain or mud-terrain tyres - highway tyres not recommended
  • Recovery kit: snatch strap, shackles, Hi-Lift jack or MaxTrax
  • Portable air compressor for tyre deflation/inflation
  • Fuel: minimum half-tank at departure
  • Water: minimum 3 L per person for all-day drives
  • Communication: 4WD Authority convoy channel (advised on WhatsApp group pre-drive)
