The Wadi Asimah to Wadi Sidr Canyon Track is a 38 km hard-rated single-day route connecting two of Fujairah’s most rugged wadi systems. Departing from the Dibba-Masafi road, the convoy enters Wadi Asimah via a steep gravel descent into the canyon floor, where rounded boulders, dry falls, and deeply undercut walls define the first 10 km of the route. The track crosses the wadi bed multiple times, requiring confident wheel placement over moving cobbles and careful reading of flood-deposited debris fields. After the midpoint junction, the route climbs a rocky ridge spur at 680 metres before dropping sharply into the upper reaches of Wadi Sidr — a narrower, more confined canyon with tighter turns and sustained grades of 25 percent on loose shale. The lower Sidr section features two bedrock drops that require spotters and careful approach angles. Tyre pressure should be reduced to 20 PSI for maximum compliance over the boulder sections. Total driving time is approximately 4 hours excluding the briefing. Vehicles with rear overhang exceeding 1.2 metres may require winch assistance on the upper Sidr drop. This route is inaccessible after heavy rainfall when flash flooding occurs without warning. The November-to-March window provides the best track conditions.
