First 4×4 — LC300, what mods should I do first?

Just took delivery of a 2022 LC300 in white. First proper 4×4, upgrading from a city SUV. Want to eventually do desert driving but starting from zero knowledge. What should I prioritise? The dealership is pushing their accessories package but I am not sure it is the right approach.

Welcome. Step one is to drive it off-road a few times first before spending anything on mods. Many first timers over-mod before they understand what the vehicle actually needs.

First meaningful mod should be tyres if you are on stock rubber. AT tyres make a bigger difference than most other mods combined. After that focus on a proper recovery kit.

What tyre size and brand on the LC300 without rubbing? I want to keep it looking relatively stock.

265/65/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W or BFG AT KO2. Fits perfectly without touching the suspension. Will transform the truck for off-road without any other changes.
