BFG KO2 availability in UAE — stock situation

Looking for BFG All-Terrain KO2s in 285/70/17. Called three shops in Al Quoz and everyone is either out of stock or quoting 6 to 8 week lead times. Is this a regional supply issue right now or am I just calling the wrong shops? Happy to consider alternatives if there are genuinely good options.

Supply has been inconsistent for several months. Consider Falken Wildpeak AT3W and Cooper Discoverer AT3 as alternatives — both excellent tyres that are actually available. The Wildpeak in particular is a serious KO2 competitor.

Al Dobowi sometimes has stock when others do not. Also look for KO3 which is starting to appear in UAE — same DNA as KO2 but with updated tread compound.

I specifically want KO2s for a build I am trying to match spec on. Will try Al Dobowi. Does Geant in Abu Dhabi stock them?

Tip that worked for me: DM the BFG Middle East distributor directly on Instagram. They sometimes know which retailers have stock before the shops update their own systems.
