Looking to put a winch on the 200. Daily driver and weekend dune and wadi machine. Do not want something so large it is overkill but needs to be reliable when I actually need it. Budget is AED 3,000 to 5,000 for the winch itself. What are people running and would you choose the same again?

Warn is the gold standard. VR EVO 10 is the right size for the 200 in that budget range, comes with synthetic rope as standard now. Worth the price — will outlast the truck.

Running Runva 11XP for two years, multiple recoveries including one serious stuck-to-the-axles situation in Liwa. Not a single issue. Save yourself AED 1,500 and put it towards a proper winch damper.

What about Mile Marker? Saw them at the last overland expo and the pricing is competitive.

Mile Marker is decent but the service network in UAE is limited. If something goes wrong with a Warn you can get it sorted at multiple shops here. Factor that into the decision.
