About to do a proper lift on my 2018 LC200. Use case is 90 percent sand dunes in UAE and Oman with 10 percent mountain trails. Running 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers currently. Torn between a 2 inch lift for daily drivability and a 3 inch for more clearance. What is the community running and what would you choose?

Running 3 inch on mine with OME heavy duty springs. On 35s. No daily drive issues at all — UAE roads are smooth enough that you barely notice it. For serious dunes that extra clearance is worth it.

Depends heavily on which shocks you pair it with. I did 2.5 inch with Bilstein 6112s up front — best of both worlds. UAE roads will destroy cheap shocks faster than anything else.

Do not go cheap on springs for UAE heat. The heat cycles destroy substandard suspension faster than off-road abuse. OME, Icon, Fox, King — worth every dirham.

Thanks all. Leaning towards 3 inch with Fox 2.0 all round. Will pair with LR UCA to correct the caster angle. Anyone know current pricing at Dubai 4×4 shops for Fox shocks?
